Drayson Racing Leads Testing at Miller Motorsport Park
TOOELE, UTAH, USA * –* Drayson Racing got off to an excellent start for the 11 July Larry H. Miller Dealerships Utah Grand Prix. Emanuele Pirro (Rome) set the 90-minute session’s quickest lap time with a one minute, 36.295 second lap in the No.8 Drayson Racing Lola Coupé with Judd Power. Pirro and Jonny Cocker (Guisborough, Yorks, UK) made a combined 25 tours of the 3.048-mile/4.905Km Miller Motorsports Park (MMP). The session’s fastest time came on lap 20 of the “Promoter’s Test Day” for Sunday’s American Le Mans Series Le Mans Prototype (LMP) race.
The first official practice for the race will start at 09:30 on Saturday with a second session at 13:45. Qualifying for the race comes from 15:25-15:45 tomorrow. The race is scheduled to take the green flag at 14:35, Sunday.
